How To Skin Your Steam (FOR WINDOWS ONLY)

Welcome to a tutorial of how to change that dull look of your Steam menu.

1. Go to this website and find a steam skin you like. skinyoursteam.com

2. Click on the name of the steam skin.

3. Under the example photo there is a button that says download click it and wait for your download.

4. While waiting for your download go open up your local disk folder in your computer.

5. Then when you are in the Local Disk folder find your Program Files (x86) click it and open it. (Your x86 folder may vary depending on what bit windows you have mine is 64 bit)

6. Search through your x86 folder for your steam folder click on your steam folder and open it.

7. When in your steam folder find a folder that is named skins open it.

8. When your download is done (its quick) drag the file that is named after your skin into the skins folder of steam.

9. After all that you go back to Steam and on the left hand corner you see a button named steam, you click on that go to settings and on  the settings list go to interface.

10. At the menu of interface there is a selection of what skins you want for steam. Select your skin and restart steam. (It will ask you to restart)

There you have it a way to skin your steam instead of looking at the boring old black and gray steam menu.

I have been wanting to re-skin my steam interface because the colours are to dark they need lots of... NEON!!
